We require a credit card to reserve a rental. Schools and non-profits may be able to pay by cash or check, please contact us for details. We can get the credit card information from you over the phone, but we will NOT acccept the credit card information from you via email.
How does the weather come into play (Hampton Roads rentals only)?
Weather can sometimes come into play before or during your rental causing you or us to have to cancel the rental. Keep in mind that for safety reasons we are unable to set up or stay set up in adverse weather. If weather looks like it is going to be a problem and you have to cancel your rental by noon the day before your event, no problem. We will not charge you ANYTHING.
The morning before your rental we will look at the weather using NWS weather.gov as well as other weather websites. Below is how we handle the decision, which is based on the % chance of adverse weather (Rain, Snow or Wind)…
50% or Greater - then we would recommend that you cancel the rental by noon the day before so you would not owe anything. If you choose to go forward you would have to pay the rental price regardless of how much rental time you get...if any. We still have to pay our employees and expenses if you choose to go forward.
Slight chance, (30%-40%) then we will let you decide if you would like us to come out. If you do not want us to come out then we will cancel your rental and you would not owe any money. If you would like us to come out you would owe the full rental amount. The risk is if the adverse weather happens. If you don't cancel by noon the day prior to your rental we can NOT offer ANY discounts regardless of how long you get to use the rental.

What are your hours?
Our office hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
Our rental hours are any day, any time. Rentals starting before 7am or ending after 10pm may have a surcharge. Please fill out a Rental Request, email or call us for a detailed quote.

Can I cancel or change my reservation?
Yes, if you need to make any changes to your rental or if you would like to cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible. If you have any changes we need to know about them by the Tuesday before your rental. Hampton Roads Rentals only - You can cancel by noon the day before your rental and not pay any fees. Rentals outside Hampton Roads, please see "Do you require a deposit?" section above.
What is your cleanliness guarantee?
We guarantee that any inflatable you rent from Birdie’s will be clean. If you do not feel that the inflatable is clean, please notify the employee setting up the equipment asap so that we can do what is needed to make you happy.
How safe are your inflatables?
Our inflatables are inspected each year by a Virginia certificate amusement devise inspector. Safety is our number one concern. We follow state, local and ASTM regulations and laws.
Who is responsible for permits?
It is the responsibility of the renter to get any needed/required permits.
